Vault for recruiters
The CV stops travelling when the process does.
A candidate's CV, references and offer letter get forwarded around a hiring team and outlive the vacancy by years. Vault sends each one as a link you paste into the reply: open only to the people you named, closed when the role is filled.
You have seen every one of these.
- A candidate's CV reaches a hiring manager at a company you never sent it to.
- The interview panel keeps growing and every new name wants the pack forwarded on.
- A candidate asks who has seen their details and the honest answer is a guess.
How a document goes out from here.
- 01
Upload the document
Drop in the PDF or Word file, up to 20 MB. Send one, or put up to 20 on the same link — you pick the set, so nothing rides along by accident.
- 02
Say who can open it
Type the addresses, or allow a whole domain and let everyone behind it in. Set the expiry in the same breath.
- 03
Paste the link into your reply
Copy the link and paste it into the email thread you were already writing. No invitation to send, no account for them to create.
- 04
Change your mind later
Add an address, drop one, or revoke the whole thing, and it lands on their next click. The expiry is the one choice you make up front and keep.
What you keep once it has gone.
The link answers to you for as long as it exists, and stops existing the moment you decide it should.
Only people you named get in
A link cannot exist without an allowlist. Name individual addresses, allow a whole domain, or both. Everyone else lands on a page that tells them nothing about the document.
The link expires when you say
Pick 7, 30, 90 or 365 days when you create it, or no expiry at all. After that the link is dead, including for the people who already opened it.
Revoke works on the next click
Revoking kills the link, every live session and every outstanding code in one transaction. Edit the allowlist instead and the change lands just as fast.
A view log that names them
You see the link was opened; from the moment someone puts an address in, every step after it — code sent, failed, denied, verified, viewed, downloaded — is written down against that address.
Forwarding gets nobody in
The URL is not the credential. Whoever holds it still has to be on your list and still has to prove the address is theirs, and that is re-checked on every request.

Questions from people who do this job.
Can I add an interviewer after the link has gone out?
Yes. Add the address and they can open the same link straight away. Take one off and that person's session ends on their next click, with no new link to send round.
What do I tell a candidate about who saw their CV?
Read the link's log. An unnamed line each time the link was opened, then everything after someone enters an address — code sent, verified, viewed, downloaded, refused — recorded against that address, with the time.
Does the hiring manager have to create an account?
No. They click the link and type a six-digit code emailed to their work address. The whole thing happens inside the reply they were already reading.
